Engraved Metal Switch Grid Plate
Total Industrial Engraving Ltd, can supply your engraved metal switch grid plate. You can have these delivered directly to us from any number of the local electrical distributors. We actually do engraving for many of them anyway.
Because of this, we can act as your local engraver even if we aren't actually based near to your office. We can ship these to you with a number of different couriers after we have engraved them.
I have added some pictures below to show you the level of finish that we can achieve. We are yet to come across any type of switchplate that we can't engrave. As I'm sure you are aware, there are many different types.
- Chrome plated
- Powder Coated
- Brushed Stainless Steel
- Lacquered Stainless Steel - hardest one to get a good finish on and best avoided if you can. Most people don't realise they are coated though. Therefore it is only when they bring them to us that they realise. We can still engrave them but they end up being more expensive as far more time-consuming than the other types.
How Much for Engraved Metal Switch Grid Plate?
We usually like to check the model and finish first but if you'd like a rough idea
They start at £2.50 + vat
The grid plates are usually priced at £1.50 per gang that needs engraving.
Therefore, a 4 gang plate with all gangs engraved above or below would be £6.00 + vat
If you need a title as well, then you are looking at £7.50 + vat
If you have a 12 gang plate but only need 8 engravings you are looking at £12.00 + vat
