We are delighted to share this retail engraving case study for Edge Retail in Leicester. They've been neighbours of ours for many years and we love to support them with their retail engraving requirement. In Leicester there is a very large industry built around Point of Sale (POS) and Retail Displays. We've been very proud of some of the projects we've been involved in for various local companies. Supporting clients with retail engraving is so challenging and rewarding. We've pushed boundaries of what is possible on many occasions.Sometimes it can be a new material we have never engraved before. Other times its the complex nature of the design that the designer, and often the end client has their heart set upon. Usually its the tight turnaround required so they can get their install done on time.
Retail Engraving Methods
We've used just about every marking method when it comes to retail displays.
- Laser Engraving
- Mechanical Engraving
- Chemical Etching
- UV Printing
- Sublimation Printing
- Mechanical Engraving with paint infill
You name it, we've done it. One of the most effective jobs I remember had a lot of lines mechanically engraved on brass. And they were perfectly positioned to give a fantastic effect that really caught the eye from all angles. In the middle of the design the logo was left unengraved just by the lines ending at where the logo started. It really was amazing seeing the simplicity used to create something so breath-taking. The original design would have had to been moulded to create what they were looking for. The end result would have been no better and it was considerably cheaper this way. It really did highlight the importance of working together with the designer to make their vision become a reality. Even against the odds. We are always happy to give our input on making your project happen in the more cost effective and time-effective way. Whilst maintaining and sometimes beating your high expectations.
