Chemical Etching
We've had many enquiries for chemical etching. Also for coloured print onto stainless steel. As a result of this we have decided to offer this as an additional service to our current mechanical and laser engraving options. It doesn't just need to be for large runs. Therefore we are pleased to say that we can chemically etch one off opening plaques. In addition to other similar items. For example, we feel that it is a very good solution when any of the following points are required:
- Coloured infill required on metal products and plates
- Highly detailed or small logos
- Large wiring diagrams required (larger than 610x610mm)
- Repeatability for high volume production - no risk of cutter thickness differences
What Materials can be etched?
Most metals can be chemically etched, including:
- Stainless steel
- Brass
- Copper
- Bronze
- Aluminium
- Silver
- Gold
- Nickel Silver
- Phosphor Bronze
- Titanium
- Zinc
- Nickel
Applications
Firstly various plaques and opening plaques, house signs, name plates and memorial products. Secondly hotel signage, elevator doors, wayfinding signs and awards and trophies. Thirdly ID tags, graduation scales, industrial nameplates/labels and printed circuit boards (PCBs). Importantly there are many examples of applications. Therefore we are very happy to advise on the best process for you.
