Industrial Engraving

Total Industrial Engraving specialises in industrial engraving and engraved labels. Historically, these were rotary engraved on traffolyte. However, now the majority of our customers are having laser engraved industrial labels on the slightly flexible 2 ply material similar to gravoply. We use Rowmark Lasermax, it is UV stable so suitable for outdoor use.

The standard thickness for our engraved labels is 1.5mm.

We can also supply most materials in 3mm thick, or 0.6mm. The 3mm can be a good option for larger signs for added strength. The 0.6mm is great for when you need a permanent labelling solution but want a discreet finish.

They are also a good option for labelling switched fuse spurs that have already been fitted on site. The reason for this is that they don't protrude as much as the 1.5mm thick material.

Our laser engraving machine has a 610 x 610mm bed size. Because of this, not only can we produce large labels but we can produce a lot of smaller labels quickly. We set them up to engrave all of the text and then go back over the area to complete the cut-outs. This is the fixing, lamp holes and the external label cut out. If you need larger labels than this, not to worry. We can just cut them on our saw and mechanically engrave them instead.

Cost-effective and Environmentally Friendly!

The engraved labels work out to be a cost-effective solution for labelling. Particularly when there is significant text on the label or lamp holes or other cutouts. Printed labels aren't cost-effective when you have a lot of changeable text. They are also better from an environmental point of view. These labels aren't going to need replacing regularly. We also recycle all of the off-cuts. Therefore, even though they are plastic they are a sustainable product.

We email most quotes the same day and often within the hour. Furthermore, we also send many of our jobs the same/next day.
