Rotary Engraved Brass Plaque

Some time ago Total Industrial Engraving were asked by The Leicester City Council to remake a large brass plaque for The Nelson Mandela Park due to severe vandalising, of the original plaque that we made, over a period of time. On receiving the dimensions we discovered that it would be too large to be laser engrave so we would need to rotary engrave it and infill black. We set it up and triple checked the wording was correct and we were good to go! Some nail biting later and we had the first pass done, then checking the text for a fourth time we were relieved to find it was perfect. Time for engraving a touch deeper, the second pass involved more nail biting and nerves. Once complete then it was the long task of filling the text black and polishing the plaque before lacquering it and leaving it to dry. We were delighted when, with aching arms we stood back and admired the finished plaque. We hope you will agree it looks brilliant. If you would like to test our nerves with a large heavy brass plaque please get in touch.
